Dear AASNS Committee
I am sincerely thankful to you for giving me this wonderful opportunity to participate and contribute. I could engage the audience in the capacity of an Executive committee member of NSI and education forum member of AASNS while speaking on “Opportunities for Young Neurosurgeons: NSI Perspective”. NSI YNF is a vibrant community of young neurosurgeons in India actively involved with other leading YNF forums including WFNS, EANS, and ACNS. Nearly one-third of Indian neurosurgeons are young and seek a platform to showcase their work, recognition, and mentorship. With the untiring efforts of the current NSI YNF chair Prof Roopesh Kumar and the current EC of NSI and AASNS, it has become a significant body. It organizes an annual meeting that attracts more than 300 neurosurgeons from India and most of the Southeast Asian countries. NSI’s main focus is on the education of residents, young neurosurgeons, and the capacity building of trainers in neurosurgery. Young Neurosurgeons look forward to a valuable association in the future with AASNS and NSI.
Best regards
Manjul Tripathi
